The Texas Wildlife Association was organized to serve as an advocate for the benefit of wildlife and for the rights of wildlife managers, landowners, and hunters in educational, scientific, political, regulatory, legal, andTWA members at Texas Capitol legislative arenas.

TWA maintains a permanent legislative liaison (Public Policy Team) and engages in proceedings of the state and national legislative bodies and their committees, in proceedings of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and other state and federal agencies on matters affecting the interests of its members.  TWA representatives testify in support of these interests, whenever appropriate.

The TWA Advocacy Center is available to TWA members and supporters to assist in their grassroots advocacy efforts at the local, state, and naitonal levels.
