Texas needs more natural resource leaders. Conservation Legacy programs provide adults with the tools necessary to foster an appreciation for natural processes and ecological interactions. By continuing our excellence in programming, we will better equip Texans to understand the implications of natural resource stewardship within the context of changing social, economic, and environmental conditions vital to the health and future of Texas. Developing conservation ambassadors among land owners, land managers, and outdoor enthusiasts is important to conservation action. Conservation Legacy educates and empowers educators and volunteers to work within their communities to organize education programs for youth.
TWA partners with other organizations, agencies, and land managers to provide support, coordination, and outreach related to implementation of various conservation projects across the state.
