Letter from Tom Vandivier about COVID-19
Dear TWA Members,
All of us find ourselves in unusual times as we deal with Coronavirus/COVID-19 concerns. We at Texas Wildlife Association put the safety of our members and staff at the forefront. Consequently, we will follow all federal, state, and local guidelines in dealing with these concerns. For the immediate future and for as long as necessary, our staff has been authorized to work remotely. Meetings will be handled by conference call, rather than in person. Scheduled events will proceed when safe, but will be cancelled or rescheduled if prudent.
We bring this to your attention so you are aware that staff communication may be limited. You can find direct contact information for our staff on our website and we encourage you to email or call them directly with any needs or questions.
This is a rapidly evolving situation and we will adjust as necessary. Above all, you can be sure that your TWA will continue to work hard to protect our land, water, and wildlife while at the same time ensuring the safety of our staff, members, and communities.
While these are challenging times, we Americans are a resilient bunch. I’m very proud of that fact. This too will pass. We all hope for a speedy resolution so that our lives can return to normal as soon as possible. We appreciate your support of TWA as we move forward with this challenge.
Stay safe and please feel free to contact us any time should you have questions.
Tom Vandivier, President
Texas Wildlife Association
