Scimetrics Ltd Corp has Withdrawn its Registration of Kaput Feral Hog Bait in the State of Texas
The recent announcement by the Texas Department of Agriculture approving the use of a Warfarin-based feral hog toxicant was cause for concern. Yesterday, Scimetrics Ltd Corp withdrew its registration of Kaput Feral Hog Bait in the state of Texas.
Texas Wildlife Association CEO, David Yeates, said, “Texas Wildlife Association is pleased to learn that a warfarin-based feral hog toxicant will not be put in use here in Texas without robust research. We hope that Scimetrics and other pesticide producers will continue pursuing an effective and ecologically responsible solution to the very serious feral hog problem here in Texas.”
Texas Wildlife Association (TWA) recognizes the substantial damages that feral hogs create across Texas. As such, TWA is a staunch proponent of effective and responsible control of feral hog populations.
