TWA Taking Proposals for Convention Education Seminars
The Texas Wildlife Association has released a request for proposals for their Educational Seminars at their annual convention, WILDLIFE 2015, scheduled for July 9-12 at the J.W. Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa, San Antonio, Texas.
The Education Seminars will run from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 11, 2015. Individuals representing universities, ranches, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and industry may apply. Presentations should be related to wildlife, fisheries, habitat management, or similar topics. No commercial products may be advertised or endorsed. Submissions will be reviewed by a committee. Presentations will be selected based on the interests of conference attendees and the time frame allotted. Presenters will be asked to allow their presentation to be recorded.
Time slots are 45 minutes each, plus 5-10 minutes for Q&A. Seminars will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end by noon on Saturday, July 11th.
This will be the 30th Annual TWA Convention. The event includes exhibits, committee meetings, recognition events, educational programs, and fundraising activities. There is an average of 1,300 attendees.
The speaker will be invited to attend the TWA Luncheon on Saturday, July 11, 2015. If the speaker wishes to attend other convention events, it will be the speaker’s financial responsibility.
