Huntmaster Training prepares volunteers to perform four primary functions: running hunts, recruiting youth, volunteers, and landowners, promoting the Texas Youth Hunting Program, and assisting with volunteer training. Huntmasters are background checked and pledge to: conduct Texas Youth Hunting Program (TYHP) youth hunts and activities in accordance with the Huntmaster Manual and the training provided at Huntmaster Training (HMT).
