Texas Wildlife Association to host white-tailed deer workshop in Seguin
New Braunfels, TX — The Texas Wildlife Association (TWA) is teaming with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension to host a white-tailed deer workshop in Seguin.
Slated for Oct. 24, 2025 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Seguin Irma Lewis Outdoor Learning Center, 1865 E. U.S. Hwy 90, the Management and Ecology of White-tailed Deer workshop is designed for Seguin area landowners and land managers.
Topics include white-tailed deer ecology and nutritional requirements, feral hog and predator control, habitat improvement practices, New World screwworm and more.
“The workshop will focus on regional methods for improved white-tailed deer management on small and large acreage properties in south central Texas. We will have lunch and refreshments for registrants and CEUs are available,” said Megan Pineda, TWA conservation education specialist.
