Texas Wildlife Association is committed to the conservation of natural resources on private landscapes through the continued education of private landowners. Together with partners such Plateau Land and Wildlife, Texas Parks and Wildlife, and more, we are administering a series of workshops around the state to face conservation challenges. From plant ID field days to wetland ecosystem restoration, these workshops will cover a variety of ecoregions and topics.
Our intensive workshops will teach landowners how to evaluate their property and offer insights into wildlife management options such as cost-share programs and restoration techniques. These workshops will also connect landowners with local professionals who can walk alongside them as they steward and learn their property. Join us as we paint a more complete picture of land stewardship in Texas by equipping landowners with the tools necessary to restore and enhance their properties.
UPCOMING LANDOWNER WORKSHOP
This workshop will begin at the Brazos County Extension Office in Bryan and end with a field tour at the Ecology and Natural Resources Teaching Area in College Station. The day will focus on habitat management techniques applicable on both small and large acreage properties and will feature professionals from Texas A&M University and TAMU Agrilife Extension.
