Texas Wildlife Association endorses Gov. Greg Abbott
New Braunfels, TX — The Texas Wildlife Association is proud to endorse Gov. Greg Abbott for a fourth term as Texas governor.
“Gov. Abott is a strong advocate for private landowner rights and has served as a champion for Texas Wildlife Association values during his governorship. As a proponent of our mission and values, we are proud to support his candidacy in the November 2026 election,” said William Thompson, Texas Wildlife Association PAC chair.
Gov. Abbott was first elected governor in 2014 and thanks to his support, statewide wildlife and conservation initiatives are benefiting Texans of all ages.
“As Texas becomes more urbanized, Gov. Abbott continues to serve as a valuable advocate for Texas wildlife and the environs that support this tremendous resource. His efforts to fund current and future state parks and wildlife management areas, combat wildlife diseases and New World screwworm, and support legislation to create historic investment in the state’s water infrastructure will ensure that Texans will be able to enjoy the outdoors for generations to come,” Thompson said.
The Texas Wildlife Association is the leading voice for wildlife conservation and private property policy in Texas. Our advocacy efforts educate our state’s elected officials about issues related to Texas wildlife, property rights, water, eminent domain, hunting heritage and more.
