Texas Wildlife Association endorses Nate Sheets for Ag Commissioner

New Braunfels, TX — The Texas Wildlife Association is proud to endorse Nate Sheets for Texas Agriculture Commissioner.

“As a fifth-generation Texan with a strong business background in agriculture, Nate is poised to ensure that Texas serves as the benchmark when it comes to productive working lands and those who steward them. Additionally, his focus and values closely mirror those that serve as the foundation of Texas Wildlife Association. For these reasons, we support his candidacy in the November 2026 election,” said William Thompson, Texas Wildlife Association PAC chairman.

Sheets, a Frisco resident who served in the Navy Reserves, founded Nature Nate’s Honey Company. He and his family operate a cattle and horse ranch near Guthrie.

“Texas farmers and ranchers produce our food and fiber yet face many challenges year in and year out. Nate will use his experience to minimize the bureaucracy on the business side while helping producers succeed and generate revenue. He also understands the vital role that property owners’ rights play in our great state,” Thompson said.

The Texas primary election is March 3, 2026. Early voting begins Feb. 17.
