New Braunfels, TX — The family-friendliest party in Texas returns to San Antonio July 9-11 as the Texas Wildlife Association (TWA) celebrates 41 years serving wildlife and landowners during the organization’s annual conference.

WildLife 2026 will be held at the luxurious J.W. Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa. Hunters, conservationists, wildlife managers, landowners and outdoor industry partners across Texas are invited to San Antonio to attend the workshops, dinners, auctions, exhibitor booths and networking opportunities offered at the annual event that attracts more than 1,500 attendees.

WildLife 2026 highlights include:

July 9
TWA’s thirteenth annual Private Lands Summit, Keeping Trouble Outside the Fenceline, will kick off the convention on July 9th and focus on the landscape of threats and pressures that face Texas property owners. Join us to hear presentations from the Boone & Crockett Club, TSCRA Special Rangers and others on ag and wildlife crimes, landowner liability protections, theft prevention, lock-tight lease writing, and more!

July 10
We are honored to host keynote speaker Jesse Griffiths for the Texas Wildlife Association Foundation Luncheon. The acclaimed Austin-based chef, author, outdoorsman and conservationist is the co-owner of Dai Due restaurant and the New School of Traditional Cookery.

We’ll wrap up the day with the TWA Family Dinner, the annual Texas Big Game Awards presentation and our Friday Night Auction.

July 11
Our Saturday luncheon guest speaker is none other than Steven Rinella, the renowned outdoorsman and author. He is the founder and host of the MeatEater television show and podcast as well as The History Channel’s Hunting History with Steven Rinella. He has authored more than a dozen books, many of which are New York Times bestsellers.

On Saturday we will showcase partners and guests from a variety natural resource and conservation-based organizations and businesses. Additionally, presentations by agency, non-profit and educational partners will be of interest to landowners and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

The Saturday Night Grand Auction Banquet will offer a variety of Texas-based hunts, fishing excursions, vacation opportunities, jewelry, firearms and much more.

As always, convention registration for children 12 and under is free. June 18 is the last day to register with discounted pricing and serves as the J.W. Marriott room block deadline.
