The Wild at Work webinars, held monthly during the lunch hour, provide opportunities for members and non-members alike to learn from experts on a variety of wildlife, conservation, and hunting initiatives such as chemical toxicants for hog control, introduction to pond management, and research updates on the impact of wind energy projects on local bat populations. How you can support the next generation of pollinators.

Pollinators play a vital role in our ecosystem, however there is more that goes into supporting pollinator populations than providing pretty flowers. On this episode of Wild at Work, we are joined by Elizabeth Tidwell. Elizabeth is the Small Acreage Landowner Extension Program Specialist for Texas A&M University AgriLife Research and Extension. She is going to dive into the role of pocket prairies, how you can create one in your backyard, and how a pocket prairie can provide pollinators with everything needed to thrive in urban and suburban environments.
