Family Land, Water & Wildlife Expeditions

Water is essential to sustaining Texas lands, ecosystems, and wildlife populations, as well as ranching and agricultural interests that sustain both urban and rural communities across the state. TWA provides programs and resources that advocate for a pragmatic, balanced approach to wetlands management and water use, marked by a stewardship that promotes accountable conservation of this vital resource.

Participant FAQ

About Expeditions
What kind of experience can we expect from attending a TWA Expedition?

Participants can expect a 1-to-3-day field day experience with a group of mentors and natural resource experts on private land. Each expedition will be themed. For example, you might apply for an expedition that is focused on ornithology and birding, water ecology and angler education, photography in nature, entomology, herpetology, and more.

The pricing for events are as follows:

  • 1-Day Expedition: $50 per youth/adult pair
  • 2-Day Expedition: $100 per youth/adult pair
  • 3-Day Expedition: $150 per youth/adult pair

(Example: $25 for a 1-day experience, $50 for a 2-day experience, $75 for a 3-day experience)
